Project Objective
To update the look and feel of the Rockwell Construction website, while maintaining the existing template. Add the ability to apply online for open positions and enhance the Current Projects and Bidding Projects document download process.
Actions Taken
- Migrated site from Network Solutions to WP Engine, added SSL, introduced caching, and introduced CloudFlare
- Customized theme to incorporate more whitespace and introducing new design elements and iconography for a more contemporary look
- Created custom shortcodes to highlight addenda uploaded to Current Projects and Bidding Projects
- Wrote content for all pages to enhance SEO and target key phrases
- Incorporated new project photography to highlight recent work and awards
- Added the new Frederick, Maryland location to all major location services
- Designed a new application process for prospective employees
